About this product
Heavy scrubbing where steel wool would leave rust
Steel wool used on a damp deck or a boat leaves broken strands that rust and stain. Bronze does not rust. This coarse grade of Rhodes American bronze wool comes three pads to a pack, and it handles the rough end of the job on wood and on metal.
You can strip and smooth wood with it, or clean and polish metal such as stainless steel, where stray steel fragments would spot the surface. The strands resist shedding and corrosion, which suits marine, outdoor and shop work. When the surface is ready for finer smoothing, Homax also offers a medium grade of the same bronze wool.
If the Rhodes American Bronze Wool, Coarse does not fit your job, the steel wool shelf has 9 more products from the Homax selection.
