How to use
- Step 1Set the tip for the pattern size, then adjust the pressure on a cardboard test.
- Step 2Spray the repair in sweeping passes that overlap the old texture at the edges.
- Step 3Watch the tint as it dries, and add a light pass wherever it looks thin.
- Step 4Paint the area directly once the texture is dry.

Large orange peel repairs show lap marks when the spray changes halfway across the wall. The oil-based Homax Pro Grade Orange Peel Texture holds 25 oz and lets you set both the pattern and the pressure, so you can tune the spray to your wall and keep it there. No compressor, hopper or mixing bucket is involved.
This formula dries fast and comes tinted, which helps you spot thin areas while you still have time to fix them. The odor is lower than older oil textures, and you can paint without priming first. One can is rated for up to 125 square feet. If you would rather clean up with water, the water-based Pro Grade can is the other choice.

Before you start
An aerosol texture can is under pressure and its propellant burns: keep it away from open flame and heat while you spray, air the room, and do not leave a can in a hot car or a sunny window. Sanding the patch first raises fine dust, so wear a dust mask and catch it on a drop cloth.
